Out of the six ballgames the Trojans have played this season they won four and lost two. They defeated Wildwood by a score of 9-1.

The starting and winning pitcher was Isiah Tyndell of the Trojans. In the bottom of the fifth, Cornelius a senior, hit a grand slam home run with the bases loaded. The Trojans coach is H.O. Dabney.

Trojans Defeat Wildwood, 8-6, April 25, 1954

The game between the Wildwood Green Devils and the Leesburg Trojans was a good game from start to finish.

In the first inning the Trojans scored three runs, then the Green Devils scored one in their half of the first. Hugh Brown started the game for the Trojans and pitched five innings, giving up four runs.

Henry Brown came in to relieve Hugh Brown in the bottom of the sixth. The final score was 8-6 in favor of the Leesburg Trojans.
